A Good day for UConn

UConn men's team finally get their first win of the season at Thursday night. They defeat Loyola Marymount 65:62. It is no statement win, but for a once ranked No.18 team and lost 2 home games, it could be a good start for them. They are facing Oklahoma State on Monday at Hawaii for the Jim Maui invitational. It has been a few years since UConn attend to this invitation. There is no super good team there, so if they still want to keep busy next March, they need to get things at next week.
The other good news is UConn women's team just get their 77th straight wins. which is 13 shy from their own record, 90 straight wins, and it is also the record for all US sports. They upset No.2 Baylor with 72:61.

Now this is a statement win, despite the fact that UConn is not as strong as it has been for last a few years. In the 2016 WNBA draft, there are three UConn players get draft from No.1 to No.3

This does not come around very often, but do not be surprised since they win last four championship consecutively. Being N0.3 seeds for the national and a underdog is kind of strange for UConn, but with this win, they just remind the nation who is the best.
My advise is if you ever want to watch a women basketball, besides the USA national team, UConn is the best you can get.
