Not a Easy Win for Pats

For two weeks, Pats keeps letting people down even they win for both. 49ers and Jets are currently hitting the bottom of their years. 49ers only have 1 win and Jets are "normal". But, just when people expect easy wins for both games, Pats under-performance. Last week, Defense could not stop CK7 from throwing and running, and this week, No.12 got shut down at the first half.

Ever since Pats traded one of their best defenders Jamie Collins away, they could not find his replacement. They could not stop anyone from run and could get a touch to opponents' QBs.
Every year Pats is a Superbowl contender since Tom Brady get here, which is better than any other team in the league already. But defense is always their problem to solve. One other thing should be mentioned is, their kicker, once the best and the highest paid in the league, Stephen Gostkowski, has not recovered from last year's playoff game. Pats should help him more or PAT will be a huge problem for them.

Not So early prediction for CFP

We are having an amazing year for College Football, and there is only 7 days left for the committee to pick 4 teams for the epic College Football Playoff. So, let's see who is in and who is out.
No warries
Alabama Crimson Tide

The team to beat at SEC or college football has guaranteed a spot in CFP. They are No.1 seed in every power ranking. They are facing 8-3 Florida in the SEC championship game, and should not be problem for Nick Saban. Even if they somehow lose to Florida, they could still get in with this amazing year.

Clemson Tigers

Clemson Tigers will play ACC championship game with VT next week. It should be a easy win for them, and with No.2 OSU does not have a championship game to play next week, No.3 Michigan is mostly out since they lost to OSU, An ACC championship should guarantee a seat for them

Little Bit Worry
Ohio State Buckeyes

Now things are getting wired for OSU. They will not play a championship game next week because they lost to PSU Oct, so there is nothing they can do now. They will just sit and wait. However, because they have been No.2 seed for a long time. They should get a ticket but the question is will they still be No.2?

Washington Huskies

Last week's No.5 will finally get in the picture after Michigan lost, Now they will face No.9 Colorado at PAC-12 championship game. It is a win or nothing game for the Huskies. A PEC-12 champion and a good win should let them play at the end of the year.

Still Hopes
Wisconsin Badgers

If Wisconsin could beat Penn State next week, and Washington lost to Colorado, they may have a seats since their two lost is to OSU and Michigan.

Penn State

On the Wisconsin's opponent side, if they could beat Wisconsin, and Washington lost. But their chance is a long shot, since no one see them a top 4 teams, and jump from No.7 to No.4 is not easy.

Cannot rule out
Michigan Wolverines
Now is this Michigan, they are 10-2 now, and just lost to OSU, but they are well recognized as a top 4 team in the country. So, if Washington lost, Penn state win. They may get in, but it all depends on the committee.

OSU wins THE GAME

The epic game between Ohio State and Michigan end up with a Epic way. OSU beats Michigan 30:27 at double overtime.
This game is a classic college football. Both teams made some mistakes, and both teams made some big plays. I think both teams are top 4 in the country, and they should get a spot for the CFP. But sadly, maybe next year Michigan, maybe next year Harbaugh. I am a big fan of Jim Harbaugh. He is one of the best coaches in football, professional or college. He brings 49ers to Superbowl a few years back only loose to his bigger brother John Harbaugh, and look how 49ers is doing now. He also somehow someway turn the mediocre team with great history to a CFP contender. However, luck is never on his side. He was so close to Superbowl and so close to CFP. I believe he could get in next year, maybe next year.

Now for OSU, this game should give them a seat at CFP, but since they will not play at their Big Ten Champion game. Now they have to sit, wait, and hope the committee will let them in.

Sorry Lamer, Maybe Next year?

The biggest story for this week's college football is former No.5 seed, Louisville lost to Houston 10:36.

This lost just tell them there is no chance they can play the playoff this year, and also for something else. The biggest star in Louisville is their QB, Lamer Jackson, who is also the leading Heisman (MVP in college football )candidate. He was so close to get the award but with 2 loses in his resume, I think it opens a conversation about who should get the Heisman trophy. Anyway, Jackson has had a master season this year. Here is a clip to blow your mind.

Besides this game, there is no major upset in this week, but next week will be more exciting since No.2 seed OSU will face to No.3 seed Michigan. The result of this game will make sure one of these two teams could get a ticket for CFP. So, sit tight, Let's wait for the game cannot miss at 12pm next Saturday.

A Good day for UConn

UConn men's team finally get their first win of the season at Thursday night. They defeat Loyola Marymount 65:62. It is no statement win, but for a once ranked No.18 team and lost 2 home games, it could be a good start for them. They are facing Oklahoma State on Monday at Hawaii for the Jim Maui invitational. It has been a few years since UConn attend to this invitation. There is no super good team there, so if they still want to keep busy next March, they need to get things at next week.
The other good news is UConn women's team just get their 77th straight wins. which is 13 shy from their own record, 90 straight wins, and it is also the record for all US sports. They upset No.2 Baylor with 72:61.

Now this is a statement win, despite the fact that UConn is not as strong as it has been for last a few years. In the 2016 WNBA draft, there are three UConn players get draft from No.1 to No.3

This does not come around very often, but do not be surprised since they win last four championship consecutively. Being N0.3 seeds for the national and a underdog is kind of strange for UConn, but with this win, they just remind the nation who is the best.
My advise is if you ever want to watch a women basketball, besides the USA national team, UConn is the best you can get.

Impression of the New season NBA

It has been 11 or 12 games since the opening day of the new season of NBA for every NBA team. Let's see what has been the most impressive around the NBA.
The Most Impressive Player:
DeMar DeRozan

Believe or not, DeMar DeRozan ties with Micheal Jordan with both have 30+ points in first 9 games in NBA history. And He's 33.3 PPG is leading the league. But what is more impressive is,
He does not shoot from 3 point line!
He shoots two 3 pointer per game with only 26.1% . Ever since Stephen Curry dominant the game, everyone starts to shoot 3s. Here is the video gives you a idea how crazy it is that he still could average 33.3 per game.

The most impressive Team:
LA Lakers
With the most record since its history and without the Kobe Bryant, we do not have any expectation for them. Lakers fans may even hope they can get something big from 2017 draft. However, they are 7:5 now. With some talented players lead by Russel and Randle and new Coach Walton, they surprise everyone around the league. How good they are? They just beat "the team to beat" GSW a few days ago.

There are many other impressions around the league everyday. I will put them on weekly bases.

UConn Needs to leave AAC ASAP!!

Quick question: Which school's basketball team has the most numbers championship since 1999 in Men or Women?
Kentucky?Duck?UNC?
NO!University of Connecticut.
UConn men's team has 4(more than anyone in the country).
UConn women's team has 10 total and 4 consecutive with Breanna Stewart.
UConn women's basketball is the Goat with no doubt, and its men's team is always underrated about its greatness.
But now, they are facing major problems. UConn was in the old Big East conference which is a Power 5 college conference before the conference become "AAC". The hope from AAC is to build a conference that focus more on Football but not basketball which is never UConn's strength. Since UConn left the powerhouse, its recruits are terrible! We usually have Hamilton, Lamb, Walker, Drummond, and all these NBA big names, but now we cannot get anyone from nation's top 20 high school student.
UConn men's team just lost 2 straight games and 0-2, and women's team was won by 1 position game.

So, If UConn ever wants to make any noise around the country, no matter what conference,ACC, BIG TEN, BIG 12, just leave the AAC asap!

Luck is on The Other Side of The SB 49 Rematch

This week, New England Patriots lost to Seattle Seahawks with a touch down away from the 1 yard line

It also gives the No.12 the first lost since his return at Week 5. Tom Brady had a great 4 games with 12 Touchdown, 0 interception, and 70% completion rate to his receiving teams.
This game as good as the SB 49 game, was hang on the 1 yard line, not on the New England 1 yard line, but Seahawks'. Patriots could not get a touchdown at 4 attempts at the end of game to tie the game leads to this lost, and Tom Brady fails to throw one single touchdown for 60 min.

For me, I think Tom Brady is the GOAT QB tie with Joe Montana who unfortunately I could not witness, but Patriots always have hard time to compete with good defense team. It is not because Tom Brady could not keep the offense going, but defense will always make mistakes. For this week, it is the same story, every time offense gained on the score board, defense give a big play to Wilson. It is hard to believe that the defense is not ready after a bye week even with Jamie Collins got sent away, and with a top offense get slow down, defense need to show up in the game.
Since I am a Patriots fan, I will also keep updating on Patriots and my thought in next a few weeks.

Upsetting in NCAAF

Everything could happen at College Football just like this week. 3 of top 4 teams were lost and it made the playoff picture suddenly become a fuzzy relation. Let's see what happen in the past Saturday.
Week 11 #2 Michigan lost to Iowa 13:14

                  #3 Clemson 42:43 Pitt

                  #4 Washington 13:26 USC

These results give some 1-loss teams a "hope" to this year's playoff game like OSU and Louisville.
Here is the rankings last week,

Louisville and OSU are excepted to replace Washington and Clemson at top 4 list later this week in  the new ranking for Week 12. But we will need to wait 2 more weeks to know who are really into the  playoff. For those teams, of course they need win every game they  will have next. But unfortunate  for OSU and Michigan, there will only one team could get in since they will meet at their season  finale.
I will keep updating about College Football every Saturday night since this week! It is most over!
